Over last 22 years we designed (and sometimes built as a turnkey project) approximately two hundreds of industrial HVAC and chilled water systems. Some of them were innovative, like pharma laboratory where gasoline was used as a solvent and at the same time components of the process were first heated to 120⁰C and an hour later freeze to -20⁰C. Sometimes scale of the project was an important factor – with systems as large as half million CFM of air conditioned air or a few thousand tons refrigeration in one building for A/C and industrial processes – we had a chance to be exposed for challenges of the large scale. In some projects hazardous environment like explosive materials, poisoning by products of the process were a major concern and we had a chance to design and built HVAC systems to mitigate those risks.
